One of the reasons I put this together was that I really need an outlet for my thoughts on Obama-care. I'll post on a whole range of things associated with it, but I have to say it's interesting watching the elite left and media attempting to squash the debate by accusing those of us who are questioning it all as being an organized mob. Meanwhile where are the civil libertarians who cringed at all things Bush while Obama has essentially a "Snitch" website (flag@whitehouse.gov) where you can report people who are spreading "disinformation" about health care (ie. those critical of it). If wiretapping was offensive to the civil libertarians, why isn't this? When has it ever been OK for a President to ask citizens to report the opposition in such a manner. If that isn't Big Brother, I don't know what is. This must have been what it felt like for the ideological left when the Patriot act was passed. Let's spend a trillion dollars on a system that will save us money. "In what parallel universe does that equation makes sense?" 2. If you don't like my shitty plan. Go ahead and keep yours. " Well, you certainly have a lot of confidence that this will work, do ya Messiah?" 3. First he's turned the auto industry over to the governement, now the health care. It's not going to end. Once Obama succeeds in starting another entitlement program and in driving private health insurance out of business, he can raise taxes to any level necessary since he will have done away with the competition.
