That's valid. I do believe they are fair and balanced on their reporting, and I'm sure that's what they really mean. I guess it'd be hard to add a disclaimer "Fox News: Fair and Balanced***"

*** Fair and Balanced refers to strict news reporting as we attempt to talk to multiple sides when reporting on issues that can be spun multiple ways. Fox News is *not* Fair and Balanced when it comes to it's commentary, which covers a large amount of Fox News Programming. Further, "Fair and Balanced" can also refer to the fact that Fox News "Balances" the other news Networks by providing alternate views and opinions not found elsewhere ***

Imagine all of that done in the superfast voice of the disclaimer spokesman.

For all that hullabaloo, I prefer watching Fox to CNN, because at least when Fox gives news (or tries to, based upon your opinion on if organizing protests disqualifies a network from journalism), they still follow acceptable (to me anyways) journalistic standards(i.e. citing and checking sources, using credible sources, etc.). But Fox does disappoint me on how they market themselves as one way and produce a product tainted by strong bias (not that that's wrong, just that they market themselves heavily as "fair and balanced").

Perhaps, but it seems they are taking the high road, not that it will earn them any respect. Couldn't agree more on Bush's second term :P

Fox continually disappoints me. Sort of like G.W. Bush's second term.
