I went from new junkie to not at-all interested a couple of years ago. I just got so disappointed by the whole Iraq thing. And I realized that my time can be better used than by watching O'Reilly or something like that. I've also more or less dropped my us-vs-them mentality. The binary, good-guys-vs-bad-guys attitude can be very deceiving. It can cause you to focus on other's faults more than your own. Am I happier? Well, yeah.
